web literature
You may have used PDFs
to present printed or online material in the past. You may have converted those PDFs into flipbook digital documents and showcased these on a website. This approach adds value to marketing messages without a doubt but there are limitations.
Bookz recognises that there are plenty of benefits to be gained from using online brochures as an interactive sales and marketing tool but until now physical brochures still had the edge in terms of a crisp and elegant look with clear, sharp photographs. In print design there are endless options for typography, creative use of space and flow. Bookz is the answer by combining both – now you can retain the linear sequential narrative of traditional media but build something special into every presentation. To really add impact Bookz will play videos from inside a page for a more immersive experience for your readers, prospects or customer. All the content is self-contained in a single interactive piece of web literature. Video and slide sequences or cinemagraphs are embedded so that users can stay within the presentation instead of clicking away to YouTube or other channels. Graphics are brought to life with stylish animations and bespoke design means every Bookz piece carries your hallmark. All this is 'sticky' and provides the wow factor!
1 flexible and dynamic
Bookz is NOT a template based solution and each publication generated using the system is individual – whilst a 'family style' or master template unique to your brand or organisation can be set up to enable faster roll-out of ongoing publications. Personalisation and adherence to brand personality are key. The solution has been designed to ensure that any piece of on screen literature will look and feel as carefully crafted as would be the case on paper. However, beyond the printed page Bookz is able to link to the live feed of data or regularly changing content so that product specifications and prices for instance can be automatically amended within a document,
2 Intuitive navigation
Users move effortlessly from screen to screen, horizonally in a natural sequence without the need for page turning effects. This makes the Bookz interface feel like advancing pages but in a way that is much more web compliant. For ease of use a number of pieces of web literature can be collated together to form your own library – the ideal brand
overview and perfect for easy search of all collateral. Products
and services are presented in a lively, interactive environment without
the hassle of endless scrolling through a website. The same contents looks great whatever device is used, whether on desktop, mobile or iPad. This encourages longer dwell time and audience engagement.
3 cross-device friendly
With
the rise of large screen smartphones and tablet computers, there is increased
demand for high-quality content that can be delivered across all devices. The video format (in 16:9 ratio) of the Bookz screen means that it works happily across all devices and browser environments – scaling but critically not reflowing the defined layout that we have established for your literature. We can translate your printed brochures into an interactive sales aid or make newsletter and presenter content stand out – all the time maintaining a controlled consistency. In addition, Bookz supports HTML5,
which offers lots of benefits for mobile users as well as enhanced security. A nice extra touch is the virtual app nature of any Bookz publication which prompts the user to add a button to their home screen (making it simple to re-engage with the content time after time).
4 Tracking and analytics
Most brand owners keep their online documents simple, just uploading a PDF and may be creating a specific landing page on their website to contain a download link. This approach does not provide accurate and reliable measurement of how your readers interact with the content. Measurement is of course a crucial aspect of all marketing, so Bookz allows you to see the results in greater detail and to track activity on each page of a document (as well as to get a sense of overall user behaviours). Tracking means you can adjust and improve performance in the future.
